Planet Bizarro

 

While trawling through a 3D CG bulletin board, I came across a job posting looking for modellers.  What was diferent was that they weren't actually looking for digital jockeys but old-school model-MAKERS.  I called them up, went down to meet them and found that they were a bunch of guys trying to do a children's TV series in the vein of the old "Muppet Show". 

The only difference now was that instead of huge sets, they were going to use miniatures, shoot them against a green screen and digitally insert them as backdrops.

 

The story is about Amber, an Earth girl who befriends Zoomer online.  What she doesn't know is her online friend is an alien who lives on Planet Bizarro, with his gang of intergalatic oddball friends and equally weird and wonderful baddies.  They chat about what's going on in their lives and each episode reveals that life on Planet Bizarro isn't that different from that on Earth!
