Build Challenges

Between 2019 to 2021, I took part in a few build challenges where I'm thrown a theme to which I'd build a miniature as my interpretation of it.
The 2019 Rogue Sculpts Craft-off had pairs of crafters squaring off each month, with the winner going to the next to meet another challenger.  I lasted till the penultimate square off. Interetingly enough all the finalists were entered in a "redemption round" for runners-up, which saw one of my best works ever - The Birdkeeper's Tower.

Late 2020 saw me try out for the Encounter Terrain 10 x 10 Craft-off, this time being a massive free-for-all, two weeks to build to a given theme on a 10x10cm base...
This terrain crafting has developed a new direction as they've now become resource material for my illustrated stories and triggers for new narratives on the page...
